GRQ Clamp

The GRQ clamp has an engineered geometry, designed to focus the load of the clamp at the inside diameter of the seal, versus the typical clamp which puts the load into the OD of the seal. Placing the load at OD forces the assembler to tighten beyond the recommended pressure rating while not achieving an effective sealing condition. The GRQ has a patented open throat design with a geometry that causes the load point to occur lower on the ferrule angle resulting in a gasket that is loaded at the inside diameter.

The GRQ hinge is a robust casting designed to withstand plant abuse.
